Refund Policy

We strive to provide a high-quality and reliable transcript extraction tool for YouTube videos. This policy outlines how our tool works, what its limitations are, and under what conditions refunds may be considered.

How the Tool Works

Our platform allows you to extract available transcripts from YouTube videos. We do not generate transcripts ourselves — we only fetch captions that are already available on YouTube.

The tool supports public YouTube videos that:

  • Have an existing transcript (either auto-generated or uploaded)
  • Are publicly available (not restricted, unlisted, or private)
  • Are accessible in the U.S. (not geoblocked)

What Is Not Supported

Please note that we do not support the following video types:

  • Private, unlisted, or age-restricted videos
  • Videos without transcripts or subtitles
  • Geoblocked content (e.g. videos unavailable in the U.S.)

Attempting to extract a transcript from these types of videos may result in an error or blank result. This is expected behavior and does not qualify as a tool malfunction.

Refund Conditions

Refunds are not issued by default. They may only be considered under the following strict conditions:

  • The tool fails to function correctly on a video that:
    • Has a valid transcript available
    • Is not geoblocked
    • Is not private, unlisted, or restricted
  • No more than 25 tokens have been consumed on the account
  • The issue is reported within 7 days of purchase

We reserve the right to verify transcript availability on the provided video before approving any refund.

Service Disruptions

If the platform experiences an outage or technical failure that prevents access to the service:

  • A refund may only be considered if the outage lasts more than 24 consecutive hours
  • Partial compensation or credits may be provided at our discretion for shorter downtimes

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you're eligible for a refund under the conditions listed above, please send an email to: [email protected]

Make sure to include the following in your message:

  • Your account email address
  • The YouTube video URL that failed to produce a transcript
  • A short description of the issue

All refund requests are reviewed manually. Abuse of the refund process may result in account suspension.
